Lights on for Vivid Sydney

 

 

Vivid 2019 kicks off this Friday night with the official lights-on at 6pm. For the next three weeks, Sydney will come to life in what is the biggest festival of lights, music and ideas in the Southern Hemisphere. Spectacular light installations and projections will illuminate the city – expect to see giant robots, alien visitors, satellites playing the sounds of space, and snow in the middle of Circular Quay!

 

A fantastic lineup of musicians will be performing at venues across the city as part of Vivid Music, with some great new sounds from local artists on show in Newtown and Surry Hills. In Vivid Ideas, explore concepts like the dark web, artificial intelligence and the future of food.

Mr Black Takes Over Black Pearl

 

Mr Black took over Black Pearl on Thursday night, Australia’s only bar in the world’s top 50.

Mr Black presented “Eyes Open” with founder Tom Baker and Global coffee ambassador Martin Hudak for an exclusive menu of modern Coffee cocktails, exploring versatility in a variety of contemporary cocktails featuring Mr Black.

 

The one-night only menu featured brand stand-outs such us;

  • Espresso MarTIKI – a fresh tropical twist on a classic Espresso Martini (included a picture of this in the image file)
  • Outlaw – citrusy & caffeinated twist on classic Scofflaw cocktail with hint of herbs

lululemon A-SPACE

 

lululemon, in collaboration with A-SPACE have launched pop-up meditation studio in Cremorne.

Founded by Manoj Dias and Joshua Lynch, A—SPACE is a meditation studio that helps people become more present and compassionate with themselves and others.

From 21 May to August 16 fashion retail space Ryder, on Cubitt Street, will become an after-hours space for Melburnians to breathe in and have a mindful moment to themselves.
