Messina x Golden Age Cinema

Valentines plans sorted. Messina is helping Golden Age Cinema bring Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel to life with a pastry inspired by those crafted by Mendl’s bakery in the film. While you watch the movie, enjoy the handcrafted “Messina de Chocolat”: a tower of choux pastry stuffed with chocolate gelato, iced to replicate Mendl’s dessert, and topped off with a golden almond, all served in the pastel-pink boxes familiar to the film’s fans. Book your tickets here before it sells out!

Sydney Just Scored a Members-Only Floating Villa

Opening this summer and floating in the waters off Palm Beach, Lilypad is an ultra-exclusive, members-only retreat. Sometimes, you just need to get away from it all. And what better way to do that, than escaping to your own private luxury villa! With only ten memberships up for grabs each year, members have access to a personalised concierge, luxury vehicle transfers within 20 kilometres of Sydney’s CBD, a boat to explore surrounding beaches and a chef to prepare meals.

Levi’s Launches new Pride Capsule Collection

Levi’s has launched its sixth Pride capsule collection, partnering with OutRight Action International, an organisation that campaigns for the rights of the LGBTQ community around the world. This year the group will receive 100 per cent of the net profits from the collection, which features the Pride flag worked into bandannas, tees, denim jackets and bum bags.

Have you been to the Dior Sydney pop up yet?

Giant “BFF” creature created by the New York-based artist KAWS as part of his collaboration with Dior Men creative director Kim Jones has landed in the Dior Men’s Sydney pop up boutique.

Lying in elegantly at the entrance to the space, the Instagram-bait critter is crafted from (fake) roses in one of many nods to Mr. Dior throughout the collection. Roses were Mr. Dior’s favourite flower, and the fabled man behind the brand was a keen horticulturalist.
